BLISSFUL NEEDLES
One person’s medicine can be another one’s poison, but there are some natural treatments that work wonders on everyone. One of these is Acupuncture, that is said to have been originated around 100 BC in China as an alternative medicine. It is also said that there are many techniques to do it, depending on the country. If one follows the traditional Chinese medicine, Acupuncture is connected to a thought-pattern that believes that disease is caused by disruptions to the flow of energy also referred to as qi in the body. Therefore, what Acupuncture does is trigger points on or under the skin through meridians. In other words, Acupuncture stimulates specific points of the body as the needles penetrate through the skin to reduce pain and health issues.
Naturally, Acupuncture is not considered as an alternative medicine in the world of Science but there have been millions of cases where people have been treated successfully. And the best thing about Acupuncture is that it doesn't give any side effects and even if you stop doing it your health won’t go back to be in the bad condition it was in.
Now one might think how exactly is that possible and will not understand it until one experiences the practice of Acupuncture; hence I went to one of the best Acupuncture specialists in Mumbai, Rauzat Qureishi. At first I too was a bit hesitant regarding the pain and the hygiene level but Rauzat not only made me feel at home but also treated various health issues of mine for digestion and hormones. Also, the needles were disinfected in front of me every time I went to her clinic. Surprisingly, after going to Rauzat on a regular basis, I not only felt better on a physical level but also on an emotional one. When you suffer from any health issue, it affects your mood and makes you feel depressed at times as it prevents you from leading a happy and healthy life. Thus, ever since I have been treated on my weak digestion with Acupuncture, I can eat anything without worrying that my stomach will swell-up and hurt. I yet have a lot more points to work on through this blissful practice of Acupuncture and I am sure that it will continue to solve not only the known but even the hidden health issues I might have, as Acupuncture points connect to all the organs of the body.
Next week we will discuss Rauzat’s true story of how she connected with Acupuncture on a very deep level and began her normal and happy life after being bed-ridden for many years.
